I found it in some complex Reddit thread (buried next 7 remarks deep under an ad for crypto). Its not upon the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how scarce that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, later it acts taking into account it saved but nada.

Interface looks as soon as Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just let us realize this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep in the same way as audio (sorta), but IG acts in imitation of Reels are nuclear establishment codes. Wild.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be put-on This?
Ugh. Im torn. upon one hand, I acquire it. We desire to save that reel. feign it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. fittingly here's my rule: I by yourself download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.

Weird trick I found. You paste the Reel URL into IGReelTXT, and it spits out a .txt file taking into consideration the audio link, thumbnail URL, and a hidden MP4 file link. Its as soon as IGs debug data or something.
