About Gin Rummy

This is called Going Rummy, and is a risky move, since you have a lot of cards for a long time, but can really pay off if you manage to do it successfully! Face cards are worth 10 points each, aces are 1 point, and other cards are worth their rank, e.g. an 8 is worth 8 points. If the deck is depleted for a second time then the hand is considered a stalemate and finishes with no one getting any points. Rummy – Classic Card Game

When three or four people play, each receives seven play Okrummy rummy cards; when five or six play, each receives six cards. Rummy works better than Gin Rummy when there are more than two players. The playing card images were made by Nicu Buculei. This game is currently not ready for playing, it's in beta testing right now, we'll announce when it's ready.

Gin Rummy Online

When a player reaches 100 points, the game ends, and the final score is calculated based on the amount of points acquired, the winner's bonus and the line bonus. Gin Rummy is a fantastic 2-player game that is easy to learn and loads of fun to play. Knocking with no deadwood, i.e. all 10 card in you hands forming melds is called going Gin. The round ends when one player knocks, by discarding a card and putting it face down on the discard pile. If the player has drawn the top card from the discard pile at the start of the turn he may not discard that card until his next turn (also, that wouldn't make any sense at all). After the player has drawn a card he must discard one card by putting it face up on top of the discard pile.

• If the player has drawn from the discard pile, he may not discard the same card on that turn.
• Some don't allow a player to lay off cards until he or she has laid down a meld.
• (In some variations each player gets his points as penalty points, but not in this version).
• Others play that the winner wins real cash from the losers according to how many points they each have in his or her hand.
• If a player has not melded or laid off any cards during the game, but can get rid of all his cards in one turn earns a bonus, his points are doubled!
• If all of their remaining cards are matched, the player may lay them down without discarding on their last turn.
• Players then are permitted to look at their cards and sort them.
• You can always go back online by clicking on the Multiplayer button.

Object of the Game

The opponent then shows his melds and deadwood. He can either draw the top card from the deck or the top card from the discard pile.
